The project
A development facing the sea .
Ciaboga is a residential development in Castro Urdiales with a hard-to-match asset: its setting. The project looks out at once over the town and the sea from a privileged position, and that was precisely the selling point that had to be put into images. We were commissioned for the visualisation and a film to support the project’s marketing.
The challenge was aerial. Drone views were essential to tell the building’s relationship with its surroundings, but they had to be resolved without the right capture material — so we built them from the visualisation, placing the camera where a drone would have flown. Working as architects has that advantage: we know at what height and from what angle a space tells its story best.
