A community living in harmony .
Vibio is born with a clear calling: to become a sustainable, regenerative community in Higuera de las Dueñas, in Ávila, eighty minutes from Madrid. Seventy homes woven into nature, with no physical barriers between them, organised into squares and streets that work as places to meet. Our commission was to visualise that way of living.
The challenge was to convey a new concept: rural co-housing. It was not enough to show beautiful houses in a natural setting — we had to make people understand a different way of living, one where the private, the shared and the public find a new balance. The images had to tell that idea — the return to relationships of mutual support between neighbours — alongside the architecture.
